- Why choose to have a wedding video?
For many couples a wedding video is the last thing that is planned for, and the first thing that is thought about after a wedding. You get to experience the sights, sounds and emotions captured from the day as a lasting memory.
- What experience do you have?
Between Daniel and Rebecca they bring over 20 years experience filming and editing of local and international events for New Zealand television, Daniel has been recognised at the Qantas Media awards for camera work two years running While Rebecca proudly holds a degree in Broadcasting Communications.
- Why choose two camera operators?
With two cameras you can record, his and hers vows during the ceremony, capturing both Action / reaction, as well as important fine detail like “that big rock being placed on the finger of the bride”, while all the time remaining discreet and unobtrusive.
- Who is the video filmed & edited by?
Daniel or Rebecca will meet with you for a pre wedding consultation and follow the video production through from planning, filming, editing, authoring and delivery. We pride ourselves in the partnership we have created which results in a passionate and creative video memory.
- What do you shoot on?
We use Sony High definition 16:9 digital video cameras and Avid editing equipment that produces a professional quality product.
- What is a highlights video?
A highlights video is like a personalized music video set to your favorite tunes with all of your special moments like his and hers vows, speeches or other highlights condensed together using Rebecca’s master editing skills to create a visual feast of sound & images. The highlights video is an excellent way of showcasing your wedding to friends and family.No one does a highlights video like ‘I do films’
- What areas do you travel to?
I Do Films often travel long distances for your chosen location, if you’re in Nelson, Kaikoura the West coast or Samoa we are happy to travel. Areas outside of Christchurch will attract additional travel or accommodation charges. Please contact us for exact pricing.
- DVD
All wedding videos are mastered onto DVD and are presented in a box. Additional DVD copies are available on request at an additional charge. We endeavor to deliver all wedding videos within 4 weeks.
